As this is only possible by continuously attracting amazing talent Fixami is now looking for a (Jr.) Pricing & Data Analyst.

What will you do in your role as Jr. Pricing & Data Analyst?

In e-commerce, offering the right product at the right place at the right time and price is of great importance to achieve maximum results. We use various marketing channels and marketplaces to find our customers. Within this role you conduct quantitative and qualitative market research, collect and combine datasets from different sources and monitor trends in sales and demand (per channel), all geared at defining and optimising the sales policy per channel. Based on your continuous analyses you design and implement strategies to respond to constant changes and you signal issues and opportunities to the team and other departments. You will have direct impact on the conversion and profitability of our channels and products.

By using competition- and data analysis you optimize our automatic pricing methodology used for product and bundle pricing leading to adjusted prices of our products in all channels. Your pricing tests result in finding the optimal pricing points to maximize conversion of visitors at the right profitability. You do research on new pricing methodologies and you play an important role in the development of these techniques within our organization while working closely together with the various teams around you, like purchase- and category managers, business analysts, pricing manager and sales and marketing colleagues.

You are our ideal candidate if:

  • You have a University Degree (Masters is an advantage) in Econometrics, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering or comparable
  • You have 0-2 years of experience in a commercial data / pricing role
  • Experience in an analytical role and/or data analysis is an advantage
  • You have great analytical skills. You are able to find the patterns in data and are able to explain in a clear and structured way
  • You are able to think from a commercial perspective
  • You are innovative and creative in finding solutions
  • You have strong communication skills and you are proficient in the English language
  • You are "eager to learn" with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience with Python / R studio and SQL is an advantage
