In e-commerce, offering a product at the right price is of great importance to achieve maximum results. As a Pricing Manager you are responsible, both strategically and operationally, for determining and implementing the right pricing policy, finding that sweet spot in the field of P * Q that ensures optimal results. You will work closely together with the various purchase- and category managers, the business analyst and sales and marketing colleagues and your team of pricing analysts that you will set up and lead.
By using competition- and data analysis you discover commercial opportunities for which you create winning price strategies. In addition to optimizing our automatic pricing methodology, you also analyze specific product and bundle prices and you come up with improvement plans for the pricing on our own websites in Europe and the market places where we offer our products. You carry out tests to discover what makes our customers buy. You do research on new pricing methodologies and you play an important role in the development of these techniques within our organization.
