Data Analyst

Fixami is an e-commerce organization focused on selling tools to professionals and DIY enthusiasts. Our headquarters and warehouse are located in a state-of-the-art facility in Tilburg, with top facilities. Through our own webshops and through marketplaces Fixami is active in the Netherlands (market leader with Gereedschapcentrum.nl), Belgium and France. That is why we are looking for a passionate Data Analyst to execute on our BI-roadmap to becoming a fully data driven organization.

This is what you will do as a Data Analyst:

As a Data Analyst at Fixami, you will play a central role in uncovering insights that drive our business decisions and optimize our performance. Working closely with Category Management, Purchasing, Marketing, and other stakeholders, you will transform raw data into actionable recommendations. Your work will directly influence key areas such as sales performance, stock policy, pricing, and contribution margin—ultimately helping us deliver the best possible experience to our customers.

• Data Analysis & Insights
  • Proactively create and maintain dashboards to monitor sales, supplier performance, and other KPIs.
  • Develop predictive models and analyses to identify trends, forecast performance, and recommend improvements (e.g., pricing strategies, stock policies).
  • Translate data findings into clear, actionable advice for stakeholders in Category Management, Purchasing, Marketing and Senior Leadership.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with business teams to understand their objectives and provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Communicate complex analytical concepts in simple terms to ensure stakeholder buy-in and action.
  • Work closely within the Business Intelligence team to refine data sources, ensure data quality, and implement new analytical tools or methods.
• Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to optimize internal processes based on data insights.
  • Develop standardized reporting and real-time dashboards that enable swift data-driven decision-making.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, best practices, and emerging analytics technologies to keep Fixami’s data capabilities at the forefront.

Fixami is looking for:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in a relevant field (e.g., Business Analytics, Economics, Computer Science).
• 2+ years of experience as an Analyst (preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment).
• Proficiency in SQL; experience with Google BigQuery is essential.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker Studio.
• Familiarity with GA4, Google Ads, and related marketing analytics tools is a plus.
• Optional but beneficial: Scripting skills (Python, R) for advanced analytics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for optimization.
• You’re familiar with an agile way of working, experience with JIRA is a plus.
• Ability to identify relevant KPIs, draw insights quickly, and propose practical solutions.
• Track record of translating analytical results into measurable business outcomes.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
